Meg Mackay has been a fixture on the San Francisco cabaret and musical theatre scene for many years. She is the winner of 6 Drama-Logue/Dean Goodman and 7 Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards for her work in Hello Dolly!, Roberta,
The Grass Harp, A Karen Carpenter Christmas, What, Give Up Show Biz?,
Torch Song Trilogy (National Tour), The World Goes ‘Round, She Loves Me and Putting it Together.
Other favorite roles include Momma Rose (Gypsy, TheatreWorks), Countess Aurelia (Dear World, 42nd Street Moon) and Adelaide (Guys and Dolls, Pacific Stage Alliance). Meg also sings in cabarets nationwide with her husband, pianist Billy Philadelphia.
She has recorded two critically acclaimed CD's, So Many People and Legally Blonde, which was named one of the Top 10 CD’s of 1998 by InTheater magazine.
